DONATIONS

Nick HELP KEEP NEW PROJECTS COMING!

I'm constantly working on developing new ideas for projects that will help the alchemy community. But its easy to loose inspiration and motivation if I feel that nobdy even cares about the work I do. This donation feature lets me see how many people actually care, and who those people are. And of course, it also allows me to spend more time on the projects when I have the funding to keep them moving foward, and progressing more each day.

For many years, I have happily given everything I know to the students of the alchemy community for free, without ever getting anything in return. It was never my desire to profit from my work in alchemy, so I never complained. But now in order to move on to bigger dreams, like advertising this website on TV commercials, and better promotion through search engines and magazines, funding is required to bring these projects to full fruition.

You should only donate if you care about this website and want to give something back for all the hard work put into it, and all the emails I answer each day to help people with their projects. Unfortunately for me, a few of those emails are nasty hate mail from people who have nothing better to do and are jealous of my success and popularity/fame in the underground alchemy community.

Every dollar donated counts, and the money will help to keep this website running and constantly improved with new information and projects. After you donate, you will be taken to a page that explains in more detail my appreciation for people like you which care enough to donate.

So if you have benefited from this website or my help with your email questions, please make a donation of at least two dollars to help keep this beautiful website up and running.I pay a decent chunk of change each month just for the hosting of this website, because of all the extra services that go with it, and because its a Microsoft business account since I now have created an actual company by the name of "Alchemia de Illumina".

People are surprisingly unwilling to donate even a few bucks unless they get something in return. Over 500 different IP addresses visit this website every month. Can you image if each one of them donated just 2 bucks a month? This site would be able to grow so large, and reach so many more people, and I'd be able to do a lottery drawing every week!

Payment instructions:
You would think using Paypal is common sense, but there are four differnt buttons you need to click on, so it can be a little confusing:

1. After you click the donate button, you will be taken to the Paypal website. Enter the amount you wish to donate, then click the "Update Total" button.

2.Then enter your Paypal user name and password and click the "Login" button. Or if you don't have a Paypal account, you can click on the credit or debit card you would like to use, or you can send an eCheck.

3. You will then be taken to a confirmation page which displays the amount you are going to transfer. Click the "Pay Now" button. 4. After your payment is processed, you will see another page display with your receipt info. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Return to Alchemia de Illumina" button, and it will take you to the thank you page which contains some more explanations of my appreciation for your generous donation, and how rare it is to find those kind of people in today's world.

Keep in mind that paypal takes a cut out of every transcation. I assumed that donations didn't get charged like that, but they do. If the donation is small, like 1 dollar, paypal takes nearly half. If its large, like $50, paypal takes $2.25 so it's not a fixed percentage rate that they are charging.

Total Donations since Dec. 16th, 2009   =  150
